Ultimovacs forlenger kontantbeholdning til og avslutter lungekreft-studie

Kreftselskapet Ultimovacs, som har kollapset på Oslo Børs og falt nesten prosent bare i år, hadde et driftsunderskudd på 28,8 millioner kroner i tredje kvartal.
Kontantbeholdningen var på millioner kroner ved utgangen av september.
Selskapet har identifisert nye muligheter for å bevare kontantbeholdningen, som nå forventes å vare til første kvartal , opplyser selskapet i en oppdatering.
Samtidig melder Ultimovacs at de avslutter rekrutteringen til LUNGVAC-studien på ikke-småcellet lungekreft på grunn av svært lav rekrutteringstakt. De 31 pasientene som allerede er inkludert i studien vil bli behandlet og fulgt opp i henhold til protokollen. Resultater ventes i første halvår
I august rapporterte selskapet at fase II-studien FOCUS på hode- og halskreft ikke nådde sitt primære endepunkt om forbedret progresjonsfri overlevelse. Dataene viste heller ingen forbedring i total overlevelse.
Ultimovacs opplyser at de driver preklinisk forskning på en ny plattform for legemiddelkonjugering. Selskapet vil gi en oppdatering om denne teknologiplattformen til markedet før utgan
