The Finnair pet policy is as follows:
As of November , only dogs, cats and ferrets to be transported in the cabin on flights from countries outside of the European Union. All other animals, including pet rabbits, tortoises and hedgehogs, can only be shipped as cargo from outside of the EU.
The total weight of the pet and the pet carrier must not exceed 8 kg (17 lb).
Pets cannot travel in Business Class on intercontinental flights, since there is not enough room under the full-flat seats.
Bigger pets that cannot travel in the cabin may travel in the hold of the aircraft on the same flight with you. However, if your pet and its container weigh over 50 kg ( lb), the pet can only be shipped as cargo.
